About Me
Glenda MAITIN, CMILT, SCOR-P, describes herself above all else as a Campaigner of Empowerment — a Catalytic Solution Provider for the people and organisations she serves, and a woman whose identity rests not in her achievements, but in Whose she is: I AM that I AM because of WHOSE I AM.
Her journey began as the first female apprentice in SAB’s beer division, where she earned the prestigious Apprentice of the Year award — the first marker of a career defined by breaking barriers and creating opportunities for others. Over more than two decades, she has combined technical excellence with people-centred leadership, holding senior roles at Colgate-Palmolive, McCormick, Johnson & Johnson, and Imperial Logistics.
In 2017, Glenda founded Bridge Building OpEx Solutions (BBOpEx Solutions) to turn complexity into clarity, potential into performance, and vision into meaningful action — developing people, strengthening organisations, and creating lasting impact. A year later, she was appointed Programme Director for the ASCM Global Health Supply Chain Initiative, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, leading workforce capability development programmes across the Ministries of Health in Senegal, Nigeria, and Kenya.
Her impact was recognised in 2024 with multiple prestigious honours. BBOpEx Solutions received the Best People Development Initiative award at the Pan African Supply Chain Awards and the Africa Supply Chain Excellence Award for Leading the Way in Training Excellence, recognising its transformative contribution to workforce development and measurable supply chain performance. That same year, Glenda was named a finalist in the Conscious Companies Awards and in 2022 the Accenture Gender Mainstreaming Awards, in the category of Investing in Young Women.
Today, Glenda lives out her KnowingBeingDoing® philosophy across two expressions of one calling. Through BBOpEx Solutions, she brings Operational Excellence and Workforce & Capability Advisory — taking leaders and teams from knowledge and identity to disciplined execution, measurable results, and sustainable impact. As an international speaker, she champions human potential in supply chain and leadership, campaigning always for the truth that empowerment begins with Knowing who you are, Being secure in Whose you are, and Doing what you were created to do.
